The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission today accepted the results of the DSP-IV Commercial (Fixed Price) and DSP-V Residential/Commercial (Fixed Price) Auctions held October 29, 2018 to procure full requirements Default Supply generation service for the periods starting December 2018 (DSP-IV) and June 2019 (DSP-V), for the Default Service Customers of Met-Ed, Penelec, Penn Power, and West Penn Power. Thursday, October 11, 2018 - Announcement regarding Tranche Sizes for DSP-IV and DSP-V October 2018 Default Service Auctions
Pursuant to the Bidding Rules, no later than four (4) days prior to the Part 2 Application Due Date, the Independent Evaluator will announce any update to the MW-measure of the tranches in the auction(s). The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission today accepted the results of the Commercial (Fixed Price) Auction held September 15, 2014 to procure full requirements Default Supply generation service for the period starting December 1, 2014 for the Default Service Customers of Met-Ed, Penelec, Penn Power, and West Penn Power. Friday, September 12, 2014 - FERC issued Opinion directing ATSI to modify its current transmission rate design
On September 8, 2014, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) issued Opinion No. 533 pertaining to Docket No. EL11-54 directing American Transmission System, Incorporated to modify its current transmission rate design from a duel voltage or two rate mechanism to a single rate mechanism for all transmission customers operating the ATSI Zone. The change to the transmission rate design will be effective January 1, 2015. This affects current and future Default Service and EGS LSEs serving load in Penn Power as well as those potential bidders of Penn Power Default Service Auctions. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - Announcement Regarding Tranche Sizes for DSP-II January 2013 Default Service Auctions
There are no changes to the tranche targets and tranche sizes that were announced on October 30, 2012 for the Companies' January 14, 2013 Default Service Auctions. This updated announcement is being made pursuant to the Bidding Rules, which require that no later than four (4) days prior to the Part 2 Application Due Date, the Independent Evaluator announces any updates to the tranche targets and sizes in the auction(s). The Companies do not represent that each tranche will have the loads indicated or any particular MW value - the actual nominal MW quantity during the Delivery Period will depend upon many factors.

Tuesday, October 30, 2012 - Announcement of Tranche Targets and Tranche Sizes for DSP-II January 2013 Default Service Auctions

Pursuant to the Bidding Rules, no later than eight (8) business days prior to the Part 1 Application Due Date, the Independent Evaluator will announce for each product in the auction the tranche target (i.e., the number of tranches being procured) and the size of each tranche (MW and %).

For the Residential/Commercial (Fixed Price) Auction and the Industrial (Hourly Priced) Auction scheduled for January 2013, there are twelve proposed products and the tranche targets for the products are as follows:
